OBATA Yuji

 A ceramic artist of ”Aritayaki” porcelain in Saga prefecture. The second generation of Jin Gama Pottery Kiln. Yuji OBATA was born in 1961. He graduated fom Aoyama Gakuin University in 1984 and then Arita College of Ceramics in 1987. 

He is a Full Member of Japan Kogei Association and a Member of Arita Ceramic Art Association.

He expresses the transience from the moment of full glory gorgeous cherry to the moment when the petals scatter, with the ultra-fine drawings and colors. His original pink color is so called  “OBATA PINK”  and it does not allow the other follow-up.
